Once upon a time in a poor village, very far away. There lived a little
girl named Jaionna, she lived with her mother and father and her big
brother Chance. One morning as Jaionna was waking up out of a sound
sleep; her mother came into her room and said.
“Get up, Jaionna, I want you to go into town today and buy seeds for
the up coming planting season.” Jaionna sat up in her bed wiping the
sleep out of her big brown eyes.
“Yes ma’am,” answered Jaionna, as she jumped to her feet and
proceeded to get ready for her journey. Her mother hollered back from
the kitchen door.
“Try not to get your dress dirty, OK, baby.” “Yes ma’am, Jaionna
answered. It was a long walk into town, so Jaionna hurried and eat her
breakfast and started on her way.
As she passed through the woods, she came across Donna, the princess
fairy that lived there.
“How is it going,” Jaionna said, as she approached Princess Donna.
“Child, I am having a bad day, I have so many errands that I need to
run for my sister’s birthday party today; and I just do not have the time
to do them all.” Jaionna looked puzzled for a moment.
“Can’t you just use your wand and get everything ready that way?”
“I would baby, if my wand was not in the fairy shop,” says Fairy Donna.
“In fact that is one of my errands, I need to go by and pick it up later
on today.”
”I can see that you do have a problem, Fairy Donna, “But, I am afraid
I can’t help you, I am on my way into town to buy seeds for my mother’s
garden, and if I am late coming back my mother would be very angry
with me.”
Poems:
If I could fly
By Stephanie Duke
If I could fly, I would fly high and touch the door of
heaven. I would bring the light and show
it in your sight, to break the bounds of the hell hounds. I would see all kneeling, giving praise to
God with feelings. If I could fly, I
would bring the warning of the storming.
That will soon come in the morning.
If I could fly, I would take the pain and tell all to praise his name.
Seeking
By Stephanie Duke
What is it that you are seeking? Seeking to be matched?
Seeking to get unattached? What is it that you are seeking? Seeking for money
or seeking for your honey? What is it that you are seeking? Could it be riches?
What does it all teach us? What is it that you are seeking? Seeking for rest,
are seeking to past the test? I’ve asked the questions; now let me teach you a
lesson. Jesus, is what you are seeking,
you are drawn to him; that is why your heart is beeping. He is your guild, he is your light, so don’t
do as you might. Take him in for he is
your kin. Jesus is your savior, so watch
your behavior; Jesus is what you are seeking.
There are no separate roses II
By Stephanie Duke
There are no separate roses, of the love, that tells the
story, of the one God took to glory.
There are no separate roses, of a love so strong; it threw me, before I
even knew me. There are no separate
roses, of the one, I stood for; so that God could bring his plans forth.
There are no separate roses, of the love that is still
growing, of the one so long here goes it, that tells the story who knows it, of
the love that’s ever caring, of the grace that I am sharing, there are no
separate roses.
Chapter One
The Three faces of Eve.
Sometimes in life there are decisions or choices that we must make. As a woman,
we seem to take things more literally, when men take things loosely. Let us go
back in time for a moment, and take a look at Adam and Eve. Now, Eve was a
woman of leisure; who spent most of her time in a garden filled with wondrous
things. Things that made her question, how? Or why? So, when she was
approached by a creature that she was very familiar with, it peaked her curiosity.
As the old saying goes, “curiosity killed the cat.”
You see, there were three faces to Eve, one she was a faithful and dutiful
wife and second she had begun to have thoughts about the tree that God had
warned them not to eat of, and thirdly, like all women, she liked beautiful things.
You see, sin begins in the mind; the devil showed up disguised as the
beautiful creature that lived in the garden, tempting Eve.
Eve listened to what he had to say.
That crafty old devil knew that Eve
had these thoughts
and that she was curious about the tree. Perhaps the serpent
may have been a pet that Eve saw every day in her paradise world. One in which
she may have interacted with, and had grown to love and trust. Remember, the

Please leave your suggestion for my new cover in the comments here are email me at odraduke@yahoo.com.
Hints: Think Disney cartoon movie with animals and the characters on the cover. There is a talking squirrel named Lucius who in the narrator of the story he is talking to the children at the beginning. Queen Nyla is colorful and has a accent she pronounces dinner as dinna. So, get those ideas to me so that I can put your name in the drawing for a $10 Amazon gift card. Think bold colors and a 3d cover. Thanks!
